September 2025: Architectural Technologist
My Engineer Ltd have a full-time position for an Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician to work as part of our team in Tuam, Co. Galway. We are interviewing the following candidates:
Graduate.
Graduate with experience.
Someone who has experience, but wants a new opportunity.
We are looking for someone to work as part of our 3D team, who can model buildings using Revit (or SketchUp) and Lumion. We are also looking someone that can prepare planning drawings and documents. The following is summary of what we are looking for:
Be able to work alone and as part of a small team.
Be fluent in English and preferably living in Galway / Mayo.
Be able to compile survey drawings of property/maps and prepare planning applications.
Have a good understanding of the Building Regulations.
Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Have a good knowledge of Revit (or SketchUp), Lumion and AutoCAD LT.
Experience with Photoshop would be an advantage.
Have a full clean Driver’s Licence and provide their own transport (mileage for work is paid).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any of the following qualifications will be considered:
Level 6: National Certificate in Architectural Technology / Construction Studies
Level 7: National Diploma in Architectural Technology / Construction Studies
Level 7: Ordinary Degree in Architectural Technology
Level 8: Honours Degree in Architectural Technology / Architecture
EXPERIENCE:
The job opportunity is open to graduates, so summer jobs and anything else that shows a good work ethic is important. For experienced candidates we would like to see a clear and concise timeline from graduation to present of relevant work experience.
MEMBERSHIPS:
Membership of a professional body is not a requirement, but it is something that will be encouraged when working with My Engineer Ltd.
SALARY:
