About Our Property Survey Services:
We offer this service in Galway & Mayo, as listed on our dedicated website myPropertySurvey.ie. This is not a referral service! Our surveys are undertaken with our qualified staff, including our Engineer Dwayne Higgins. We hold professional indemnity insurance for all services.
Dwayne worked with Oliver Higgins Chartered Engineers, Oranmore, Co. Galway for 15 years. Dwayne is also a registered member of Engineers Ireland. He has a multi-disciplinary background in Engineering & Architecture.
Our in-depth engineering report that is the cornerstone of myPropertySurvey.ie. The report was developed with input from Solicitors, in order to be the most comprehensive report available in Galway & Mayo.
What else is included?
We include comprehensive photographic surveys of the property (c. 150+ images). We give you a shareable link to these images, so you can show your Family & Solicitor.
Our report is c. 15-20 pages. It is easy to read and jargon free.
We include Infrared Moisture Imaging as standard.
We undertake a full planning search.
We look at Radon / Flooding / Water / Broadband provision.
MyPropertySurvey.ie also undertake Snag Lists in Galway. Generally, a “Snag List” is for the purchase of a NEW home.
What Type of Surveys Do You Do?
We have 3 main types of survey report:
Property Surveys - For Second-Hand Galway Homes (Also called Pre-Purchase Inspections, Structural Reports and Home Check Reports)
Snag Surveys - For New Galway Homes (also called Snag Lists, Defects Lists).
Damp Surveys - For Second-Hand Homes, usually where there is a condensation / damp problem.
